take some time, and relaxe

1958 - the first casual shoe was released, marking the beginning of today's relaxed style.
in an era when footwear choices were very limited, HUSH PUPPIES provided the world with a new alternative:
a supple suede and lightweight crepe sole combination, that created a soft, breathable and comfortable shoe. designed for young American families who were shifting from conservative uniformity to a comfortable, casual way of life.
the company, along with their basset hound mascot, touched the hearts and imaginations of people around the world. their desire for casual living, and pursuit of leisure time changed the kind of world we live in. with today's continuous struggle to be faster and more efficient,  they continue to remind us to be casual and invite us to relax.

early 90's - the brand is slowly dieing as the styles and tastes of the general public change.
1994 - a group of New York hipsters discover that no one is wearing the brand anymore, so decide to be 'different' and wear them because no one else was. the cool kids followed, then the not-so cool kids and so on. the company expanded by 5,000% without any money spent on advertising. thus, creating the tipping point for Hush Puppies.

today - keeping the original relaxed and classic design, Hush Puppies has always defined what it means to combine modern and casual. they continue to innovate by bringing technical excellence and genuine style to over 120 countries.
we are very excited to welcome this brand to our store
on our shelves, very very soon :)

remember to take it easy, relax and enjoy as the seasons change once again
