Fall 2011 Shoe Trends - Yay!

Sure, fall symbolizes the conclusion of summer and is basically a transition period leading us into the cold winter months, but hey - the shoes are fab!

We at S.O.S. are pumped for next season's slew of footwear. The animal trend carries on in the form of reptile-like prints as well as the "socks in shoe" trend that was big throughout this season - perfect for JC chunky heels and wedges - which are two other trends that you will be seeing a lot of again! Oxfords also reappear next season in different colours and patterns.

Other trends include buckles, heavy lacing, stilettos, granny boots, thigh high boots, the revamped hiking boot (wedged and chunky heeled) wool cuffed boots, fur accented boots and wedged desert boots (glad I kept mine from a few seasons back!). Suede, satin, leather, patent and glitter are also must-have footwear finishes for fall.

Peruse through some of the delicious treats for your feet that were seen all over the runways. I am drooling....

Can't wait for our fall lineup to come in. Not sure exactly what Shelby has hand selected for S.O.S.'s patriotic customers, but I know it's gonna be good!

effective. A lot of times it's tough to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and visual appearance. I must say you've done a amazing job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads super quick for me on Chrome.
