My heart broke yesterday when I heard the news; I felt sad, so sad. Not only did the fashion industry lose an icon, but the world lost a creative genius.
I remember where I was, and what I was doing, while I watched clips of his 1995 autumn/winter collection "Highland Rape" on Fashion Television. Ravaged models walked the runway in ragged tartan dresses. It was shocking, amazing, mind-blowing.
His passion, drive and creativity will be missed.
